IV Drip Hydration involves a small tube called a catheter and a saline-based electrolyte solution that contains your selected vitamins and nutrients.
You will be greeted by one of our staff members who will review your paperwork including HIPPA, consent form, and medical history. You will be consulted by our medical director Kate-Lyn Birchell, MSN, FNP-BC, CEN to ensure IV hydration is safe for you and that we will best meet your needs and unique health history. Once this is complete, our staff will take your vitals. Next, one of our nurses will place a small, think plastic tube called a catheter directly into your vein. Once the nurse accesses your vein, we remove the needle and the plastic catheter remains inside to deliver your infusion. The catheter will then be attached to the IV bag. The drip will take anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes usually (sometimes longer depending on tolerance and history). You can sit back and relax in one our recliner chairs and hook up to our free WiFi or just relax. Once done, the catheter will be removed and you will be on your way!
